Adopt-A-Family

The holiday season is a time for love, generosity, and togetherness. Through our annual Adopt-A-Family initiative, the Eighty Nine Ninety Four Foundation brings holiday cheer to families experiencing hardship by providing gifts, essential items, and a little extra joy during the Christmas season.
With the kindness and generosity of our donors, volunteers, and community supporters, we strive to ease the financial burden of the holidays while reminding families that they are seen, valued, and supported.
Neighbors in Need

At the Eighty Nine Ninety Four Foundation, we believe everyone deserves to be treated with dignity, kindness, and compassion. Through our Neighbors in Need initiative, we extend a helping hand to individuals experiencing homelessness and hardship by providing meals, essential supplies, and meaningful community connections.
Every act of kindness, no matter how small, is an opportunity to uplift others, strengthen our communities, and remind our neighbors that they are not forgotten.

Paint & Chess
Hosted By Women of Color on the Move
Eighty Nine Ninety Four Foundation partnered with Women of Color on the Move for an awesome Paint & Chess event! There was everything from free backpacks, clothes, food, haircuts, painting and games! This event was the first of many collaborations with Women of Color on the Move.
4th Annual Run to Fosterhope
Our Secretary Antoinette is a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) for Sacramento County and this past June she had the pleasure of being at the CASA table for the 4th Annual Run to Fosterhope event! Antoinette had a great time at this event and was able to meet other CASA's!
2nd Annual Back-to-School Extravaganza
Our second annual Back-to-School Extravaganza took place at San Pablo Park in Berkeley, and we couldn’t have asked for a better day! The sun was shining, the weather was perfect, and the community turnout was amazing. Families as far as San Francisco came together to enjoy the event, and we were thrilled to provide much-needed school supplies, resources, and fun activities for the kids. Thank you to everyone who made this event such a success—we’re already looking forward to next year!
1st Annual Back-to-School Extravaganza (Berkeley)
Our first annual Back to School Extravaganza at Grove Street Park in Berkeley was a blast! We had five amazing vendors and received support from the Berkeley Police and Berkeley Fire Departments! At the event, we gave away backpacks filled with school supplies, tickets to the A's game, gift cards, and much more.
Coffee With a Cop
Coffee with a Cop, organized by the Berkeley Police Department, was a delightful event held at McDonald's on Shattuck. It provided an opportunity to meet friendly police officers, enjoy coffee and pastries, connect with local business owners, and engage with the community.
1st Annual Back-to-School Extravaganza (Roseville)
Our Back to School Giveaway in Roseville was a huge success! We distributed backpacks and school supplies to children in the community, ensuring they were ready for the new school year. With temperatures soaring over 105°F, we also provided refreshing cold drinks to beat the heat.
