AWARENESS

Join us in our commitment to raising awareness about the needs and support of children whose parent has been murdered. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of these children and help them heal and thrive.

Children’s Grief Awareness Day

Third Thursday in November (Created in 2008 by the Highmark Caring Place, A Center for Grieving Children, Adolescents and Their Families.)

Losing a parent to violence is a traumatic experience that can be especially difficult for children to navigate. Here at Eighty Nine Ninety Four Foundation, we understand the unique challenges that come with childhood grief, and we are here to provide support and resources to help children and families through this difficult time.

Special thanks to Judi's House/JAG Institute for creating the CBEM toolkit, which helps raise awareness of childhood bereavement and provides a data-driven approach to understanding the scope of this issue. We appreciate their dedication to supporting children and families who have experienced loss.
